TWM Die Tools - Tool Manufacture
Utilising the design information supplied from the tooling model impression
forms are rough machined. This machining takes place on vertical machining
centres using gouge free, accurate toolpaths produced by industry leading
machining software. All impression forms are finish machined after heat
treatment to ensure their accuracy. High speed machining (HSM) of the
impression form takes place leaving spark erosion for the deeper detailed
area's.
High-speed Ethernet connections
communicate cutter path data to the vertical machining centres.
Spark erosion machines utilising CNC orbital heads give an improved surface finish
while the
System 3R Macro pallet system to ensure fast and accurate transfer of electrodes between machines.
